1872, 1 sen blue, Government printing, type III, plate 21, complete sheet of 40, position 26 « missing the last line of the right SEN kanji character ». Only hinged in corners at base, otherwise mint never hinged, showing an uneven inking of the plate and with some ink irregularities caused during the process of printing. Corner crease at lower right resulting in a small closed tear, minor small tone spots.
A very appealing and rare sheet featuring the prominent plate flaw in position 26. (JSCA ¥650,000).
