Mexico District 4r green + ½r lilac, 4th period, consignment #127-1865, the ½r with three large margins and 4r with four margins, tied to envelope (portion of backflap missing) sent express to the United States with Capitan’s Fee rate, sent from Mexico City to Milford, Delaware. This rate paid ½r additional for the ship’s captain fee. 10c steamship handstamp in the US. Very few covers are recorded paying this rate. Ex Leo V. Corbett.
