Lot 20152 – 1864 Apam 2 Reales Orange + 1 Real Blue Eagles 1st -3rd Periods on cover

Apam 2r orange and 1r blue, just the 1r touched in small part at right, otherwise both well margined, on September 28, 1864 entire letter from Apam to Mexico, lightly cancelled with negative handstamp (Schatzkès #24). The 2r comes from consignment #182-1864, where only 400 were sent, belonging to the short first « Eagle » period without consignment number, lasting two months only in May-June 1864.
