Apam ½r brown, large margined pair, used on September, 1862 entire letter from Apam to Mexico, cancelled by neat and attractive negative circle handstamp (Schatzkès #24). Closed tear in center. Only 1,530 were issued and few covers are known. NF $200 for remainder cancels off-cover. Catalogue ref: Scott 6
