108 Parale blue on pink, with clear to large margins all around, partly tied or cancelled by strike of the red double-ringed ds JASSY/MOLDOVA, on folded registered letter sheet addressed to Isaac Löbel in Galatz, showing clear crisp RECEPISSE straight line red alongside, and numbered N.1785, some age spots on the stamp and cover very slightly rubbed, an important example of the 108 parale usage with only twelve single frankings used from Jassy known, this item sold for CHF15’000 in a Zurich auction sale of 1994 lot 4956.
