1791-1961, Group of 29 covers written up in small box, an excellent variety from pre-stamp to mid 20th century and a small sample includes 1806 Antigua to Cirencester with ‘Dover/Ship Letter’, 1872 Dominica to Scotland with ‘Dominica Paid’ (2), 1907 Natal Registered to Aberdeen with 10x 1895 1/2d on 6d (showing many varieties), Sudan 1924 5m Stationery cover with 5m issue to Germany tied ‘Abusabad Markaz’ in violet and a 1925 ‘Cocoanut Plantations’ cover. An attractive and most worthwhile lot, priced (perhaps a trifle optimistically) at $7500.
