Lot 20792 – 1935 Incoming cover from Rome with « Comando Truppe Italiane nella Saar » on the day of the plebiscite
1935 (Jan 13) Airmail cover from Rome, franked according to the internal rate (just 5c overfranked) with 25c, 30c and airmail 50c, forwarded through the Ministry of War P.O. Roma 13, with this cds tying the franking, carried by airplane to Marseilles with cds on back, and superb strike of the « Comando Truppe Italiane nella Saar » on arrival. A very rare incoming mail, of even more significance with the Saarland cds applied on the day of the plebiscite.
