1878, BULGARIA LOCAL POST, group of 3 imperforate stamps with denominations 1 Pa, 5 Pa and 80 Pa. These stamps are considered to have been printed in 1878 and are said to be the first stamps used in Bulgaria during the Russian occupation in support of the Slavs against the Turks, they seem maybe quite similar to Russian Zemtsvo stamps. The 1Pa and 5Pa have some faults, the 80Pa is very fine. First published in the « Philatelic Record October 1879 » A rarity of Bulgaria. Ex Botteley.
