1841, 1d red-brown pl.108, good to large margins, tied to small piece by yellow-brown « 97 » Scottish numeral of Cockburnspath, very fine and scarce coloured cancel, cert. Mike Jackson (2018) which states: « Danzig & Goldsmith recorded a yellow-brown numeral 97 obliteration of Cocksburnpath being used in Oct.151 and Feb. 1854; I Have seen images of Cockburnspath covers with obliterations of similar colour » (SG BS91xf(var) £2’500).
