1857 10k brown and blue, with good to ample margins, neatly tied by pen-cross cancel on 1858 (Feb 28) folded entire from Mitau (Jerlava, Latvia) to St. Petersburg, with despatch cds on reverse, very fine and rare, only two covers recorded from Mitau with pen cancel; cert. Scheller (2024); ex Fabergé (with his typical handwriting on reverse) and Corinphila Oct 1999 (at the time with cert. Mikulski 1998 but now lost).
