1915-16 Wmk 2nd « Crown / A » 2 1/2d indigo, overprint type c, mint hr, very fine and extremely rare with only a handful of mint singles of this type recorded, a great rarity of New Guinea and the Roo issues, cert. Ceremuga (2020) (SG £28’000)

Note: Almost all of the stock of the 2 1/2d 2nd wmk is believed to have been destroyed in a fire in Rabaul with only portions of 2 panes of 30 believed recovered (of which some were cancelled)
