1859 Lapirot 2d. blue, two singles from positions 9 & 12, position 9 slightly cut into at left, large margins for the most part in other respects, each tied by barred oval to 22.8.1859 folded cover to Cape Town endorsed ‘By first vessel’, paying the 4d overseas rate, backstamped with ‘MAURITIUS/GPO’ crown ds and red arrival cds, some folds to cover including one pressed out through the franking horizontally
