One of the Most Important Early Covers and Possibly Unique Usage
1882-84 10 Francs (1 Toman) high value, perf 13, tied by Teheran cds to registered cover with bi-lingual imprint for the head of the Chamber of Commerce in Bukhara, and sent to the Civil Law Dept. at the City Court in Viatka (Russia), with sharp 19 January 1884 bs. Special boxed hs (for registration) also dated 1884 on front. An immaculate and spectacular showpiece, and the only known use of this key stamp on cover. Indispensable for a specialised collection of the period, and a top quality « crown jewel » of Iranian philately.
