Note: Reverend Justin Perkins wrote that the Bishop of Oroomriah’s brother (Joseph son of George of Gavalan) was a practicing physician and was engaged among the multitudes suffering from cholera in Oroomiah: an interesting letter ending « with all its solitude and trials, however, missionary life has also its peculiar joys »
