1841 (Mar 21) Entire from Sturminster Newton (Dorset) to Shaftsbury with 1840 1d grey-black pl.2 GG with good to huge margins tied by a crisp strike of a black MC with faint framed « No.1 » receiving house handstamp adjacent, reverse with Blandford « Penny Post » 3-line transit datestamp, very fine, scarce to have the black MC on plate 2 (SG Spec. AS16f/m)
