THE UNIQUE AIRMAIL ESSAYS FROM THE COMMANDER ENZO GROSSI ARCHIVES Imperial Series Airs: 25C Green, 50C Dark Brown, 75C Yellow-Brown, 1L Violet, 5L Green and 10L Carmine, each overprinted in four lines « Italia / Repubblicana / Fascista / Base Atlantica, unused with original gum and hinged. These six essays were prepared under the authority of the High Command of the Italian Submarine Forces in November 1943 but were eventually not authorised for issue.
