1843-2010, Remarkable collection of Egypt housed in three albums, from prephiltelic to modern showing a high degree of specialisation, early postal history including mixed France/Egypt franking as well as a range of earlier pre-stamp markings, issues are predominantly mint with a good portion of mint never hinged, replete with varieties including tête-bêche pairs or in blocks, double printing and double overprints and inverted overprints, postage dues, min.sheets, some proofs, the collection does however include some forgeries, overall very fine and attractive collection (Est. € 3’000/5’000) Vente aux enchères
