1870-2006, Exhibition collection of more than 360 stationery items written-up on pages with lots of attractive 19th century material, advertising, paquebots, etc, starting off with postal cards from 1870 first type inc. 1873 reply card ‘specimen’ o/p, early private advertising from 1895 onwards, Eupen and Malmedy occupation ovpts, through 1940s with diverse ‘-10%’ surcharges, followed by the stamped envelopes from 1873 onwards, lettercards from 1882 first issues onwards, also unusual official franchise, ministerial and departmental stationery 1877/1920, etc. Then an impressive range of illustrated postcards inc. pastiche post office form ‘good for 20 kisses’ for New Year’s eve 1901, 1894 Antwerp International Exhibition, 1905 75th anniversary of kingdom vignettes in several different colours, 1928 Orval series, 1930s tourist promotion, Ostend-Dover paquebot cards with about 20 different mostly showing the various ships, as well as an extensive showing of the Publibel charity advertising, etc, etc, many very scarce items here.
