Postal Censorship in the Grand Duchy of Finland, 1914-18 Award-winning exhibition collection mounted on 124 pages showing a wide spectrum of the postal censorship markings used in the Grand Duchy of Finland from August 15th 1914 to January 28th, 1918. Highlights with many known in less than 5 examples include Tornio censor tape 12a, only recorded marking of the Wyborg CS12, Mark 17, one of only two CS5 marks with Russian text « Passage denied », Tornio label CT 15v1 with bold « A » in « Avannut », Hyvinkää CS 13 derived from CS 8 with censor’s personal identification removed, 1915 « Secret » cover to the Russian Governor, Tornio « Broms » marking – discovery item, Tornio only recorded CT 21 on cover, Nikolaistad CS 22, Mark 17 – known only used one day, and many more.
