1850-51 12 cents black on blue, Townsend Type A, thick frame, without initials, exceptionally rare unused example, deep colour, cut round.
One of only two unused recorded of the entire « Cotton Reel » issue (the other 12 cents was sold in the Harmer Rooke sale with the 1856 1 cent in 1935)
