1850 Folded entire from Kirchdorf to Spital, franked 1850 3 kreuzer carmine red, large even margins, uncancelled, but bearing 2-line KIRCHDORF/31. MAI date stamp one day before the official usage of June the 1st, 1850, a remarkable cover, an important postal history rarity of Austria, showpiece
Note: The Matal certificate clearly states that the stamp was applied to the cover, uncancelled, yet still paid the postage, especially in the absent of any tax marking, proving this it is a genuine usage of the first Austrian stamps one day prior to the offical first day of June 1, 1850
