1840 (Apr 3) Houses of Parliament 4d envelope/wrapper front (175x90mm, unwatermarked wove paper) to Evesham with red crown « PAID » cds and signed, faults, the ONLY KNOWN 4d Parliamentary postal stationery which came to light recently after 168 years, a remarkable discovery item and in the words of Alan Huggins, « joins the 2d House of Lords envelope as being one of the rarest items of British postal stationery, » cert.
