1926 France-Madagascar flight by pilots Guilbaud & Rapin, spectacular large cover flown only to Lokodja (Nigeria), posted at Berre (10 Oct.) and showing Berre Maritime Aviation and flight cachets as well as 30 separate transit cancels of the diff. stops along the way there and back, incl. Malta, Argostolion, Beirut, Luksor Winter Palace, Dongola, Jinja (Uganda), several French colonies, etc. A spectacular showpiece in every respect, Lokoja bs of 4 Nov. 1926, final bs of St. Raphael (Var) dated 7 3 / 27, only 7 carried, very fine and signed by both pilots (Mü. 162, 20’000pts) Vente aux enchères
