1912-55, Part of the of the Buxhoeveden Family correspondence (high-ranking nobles with ties to the Baltics and formerly close ties to the Royal Court and the Czar’s Family), from several members to a half-cousin, Madame Alma Seillier in Cannes (mother & daughter were in private exile as they were never officially accepted by the family and had a lifetime pension) & incl. about 25 ppcs and envelopes between 1912-17 (nearly all censored), some signed Magda, Ella & Rita (von Buxhoeveden) and sent from Petrograd (St. Petersburg), Grankulla (Russian Finland), Arensburg, etc. also later covers from German Reich, Switzerland, Sweden, USA and a group of collateral material (photos, passports, carte de visite from Baron Alexandre Buxhoeveden, including an old photo, some cut outs from letters with signatures and some cut outs of newspapers, some mourning notices or letters incl. one from Baronne Charlotte de Buxhoeveden, etc. Philatelic as well as genealogical & historically interesting group from one of the formerly most important aristocratic families in Europe (Est. € 120/200)
