Note: The Loughlinstown Camp (1795 – 1798) – The Camp was established in 1795 by the English Viceroy, Lord Camden, following advice from Colonel Napier that the soldiers therein could be used to defend Killiney Bay or Dublin City from a potential Napoleonic invasion.
