On the reverse is purple “Registered San Francisco” Mar. 24, and Rome arrival 14.4 1884. 1 yen 30 sen, making this cover the 12th weight step (150-180 gr.) + registration. With certificate Philatelic Federation of Japan 2019. An exceptionally rare and attractive envelope in extremely fine and fresh condition with the highest known franking bearing the 30 sen value, a phenomenal cover.
