1860-63 4d. rose on 1860 (Apr 7) outer wrapper to Nantes, France, endorsed « Suez et Marseilles », tied by dumb oval of bars used on the first day of issue, the front showing « Pays etr. Y.Suez/AMB.D » French entry cds alongside MS »16″ (decimes), the reverse showing superb « GPO/Mauritius » despatch cds, light soiling and filing folds but a remarkable first day usage, which opens well for display, one of only two know first day usages from the De La Rue period; ex « Port Louis ».
