1855 envelope from Perth to England franked on the reverse with two pairs of the 1854 Swan 1d black, just clear to good margins all around, tied by void barred ovals and London arrival, obverse with « GENERAL POST OFFICE / (crown) / PERTH / WESTERN AUSTRALIA » cachet, some cover tears/cuts clear of the stamps, a fine and rare first issue franking; cert. BPA (2018).
