Lot 50451 – 1850 1d brownish red, horizontal pair with variety « no clouds »

1850 1d brownish red, Plate 2, re-engraved by Henry Jervis, horizontal pair, the right stamp displays the variety « no clouds », good margins on three sides, slightly cut into at the right side, centrally stamped by a numeral obliterator. A very rare « se-tenant », of which just a few are known; cert. Behr (2016).
