1939 Air mail cover from Mecca to Chicago, rated 8 1/2g (1/2g, 3g, 5g 1934 issues) + 1/8g hospital tax stamp (30x18mm), with pink bilingual Par Avion label and striking large American Received Mail Sorting clock handstamp 10 June 1939 on front. On reverse are Jeddah, Port Taufiiq and Alexandria transits. A very scarce and colourful airmail franking with damage to a few stamps.
