1889-91, « Sudamericana » Issue: collection of more than 500 stamps, used and unused, including a wide range of shades, imperforates, multiples and part sheets with plate numbers, a comprehensive display of perforation and impression varieties with spectacular examples also in multiples, pre-printing paper folds, overprinted « Muestra » specimens, as well as some covers. Noted « Gregorio Funes » 50p orange-red « dentado perfecto » (perfect perforation) on thick paper mint n.h. with brown original gum and the same with « dentado imperfecto » (imperfect perforation), prepared but not issued with original white gum. A very rare lot for the specialist, generally very fine. Viewing recommended.
