Lot 80973 – 1853 Maria II mostly used group

1853 Maria II mostly used group incl. 5r type I reddish brown used pair, three margins, neat « 48 » circular cancel of Angra do Heroísmo (Azores), vertical crease between stamps, 5r type I reddish brown used pair with indistinct cancel (repaired margin at left otherwise very close to large margins), two 5r type I singles and one type II, 25r type I mint o.g. with good to large margins, split from top down the majority of the right-hand side of the frame, faint horizontal bend (ex Salgado), four 50r green used, 50r blue-green used with « 53 » circular cancel of Amarante, thin, (cert. RPS 1956), and 100r lilac used, fine to good margins, « 112 » circular cancel of Vizeu, some improving restoration on reverse; a useful group.
