1858 (Feb) Russia 20k blue & orange, impressed watermark ‘2’ on thick paper, a very fine example of this rare stamp used on cover front to Warsaw, tied by circular Polish numeral « 106 » cancellation of Tarnogród in black. Straight line TARNOGROD handstamp at right in red above Warsaw arrival cds in red. A wonderful and unique usage. The stamp sensibly lifted for checking, an exceptionally rare usage of the second Russian issue within Poland in outstanding quality.
