Description
1870 Lettre from Pireas (Jul.18/30, 1870) to Casamicciola (Jul. 23/Aug.4, 1870), via Kerkyra (Jul. 21/Aug. 2, 1870), Brindisi (Jul. 22/Aug. 3, 1870) & Napoli (Jul. 22/Aug. 4, 1870). Franked at 65 lepta corresponding to a letter up to 10 grams transported by Austrian or Italians boats according to the 1864 convention between Greece & Italy and the circulaire of the Director of the Greek Post-offices of Jan. 5, 1865. Black postmark « PD » for « Paid to Destination ». The 5 lepta is from one of the « cleaned plates » printings and the strip of three of the 20 lepta from the special printings of 1870.
