1875 (Mar 17), small opened out envelope from Cairo via Suez to Bombay, franked by 10pa pale-lilac, 1pi scarlet and 2pi yellow of the 1874-1875 issue, tied two of three by strikes of « Poste Egiziane 17 MAR 75 Cairo » cds, with British Post Office Suez cds alongside, with the reverse showing « V.R. Poste Egiziane Suez » transit and Indian SEA / POST OFFICE, minor cover faults, fine, colourful and a scarce franking. Réf catalogue: Nile Post D24
