1856 Soldier’s letter rate entire from No. 2119 Pte. John McGregor, 73rd regiment to Scotland with a 1d brick-red (just touched in one spot) paying the “Soldier’s Mail” rate from Cape Town to Scotland, tied by triangular cancel, countersigned by the head of the regiment signed at bottom left, reverse with Liverpool Ship ds, some cover soiling/creasing, scarce.
