Africa – Kibweze » from a British railway official to Sukkur, India, sent via the tented temporary Post Office with the 1a die cancelled by « RAILHEAD / MOMBASA » squared circle ds, with Bombay and Sukkur datestamps below, some creasing and soiling, a very scarce usage on the Uganda Railway; ex Rossiter.Note: An extract from the official government « Report on the state of British East Africa Protectorate for 1897-98 » reads as follows: « The Uganda Railway has practically reached Kibwezi.
