1817 (11.12) Printed Form No.7/Missent Re-directed Letters forwarded per Cross Post showing an ATHBOY/31 mileage, posted from Athboy and addressed to the Postmaster of Trim on December 11th enclosing a letter addressed to John Pottinton Esq. of Athboy and rated « 11 ». The form was received at Trim by John Atkins D.P.M. on December 12th who then turned the Form with TRIM 25 and sent it to sup(erintenda)t. by Dead letter office, Dublin. The contents of the form which was partly printed list a letter from Drogheda to Trim that vwas redirected to Athboy
