1928 (Oct 29) Wilkins Antarctic Expedition cover with Falkland Islands 1d tied by Port Stanley cds and « Deception Island » cachet adjacent, then re-used in 1931 and carried to England on the Wilkins-Ellsworth Trans-Arctic Submarine Expedition, with large violet cachet, franked with KGV 1 1/2d tied by London cds to the US, then redirected to New York; cert.
