1852-1945 British West Indies: Extensive and valuable of mint and used collection housed in three loose-leaf binders with most of the islands well represented including Grenada with some useful Chalon Heads, bisects on and off cover, unsevered pairs, later set to 10s etc., Bahamas a fine array of the Chalon Head unused and used, Barbados wonderful and valuable group of the Britannia issues with 1861-1870 (1d) blue unused imperforate pair (SG 23a, £800), cert. BPA, 1878 1d on half 5s used, cert. RPS (SG £950), Leeward Islands with set to 5s, St. Kitts-Nevis with Tercentenary set to £1 (SG 48-60, £1200), St. Lucia with some QV issues, St. Vincent with better QV including 1869 4d yellow, unused (SG 12, £350), cert. Richter, later sets to 5s and £1, Turks Islands with a wonderful group of the early surcharge issues with some better, Trinidad showing early Britannia issues, some usual minor faults, mixed to very fine, a wonderful assembly with very high catalogue value (1000’s).
