Lot 60939 – 1861-1940 Greek Territories: Comprehensive mint and

Greece: 1861-1940 Greek Territories, comprehensive mint and used collection in old book, starting with 110 LHH fairly complete with some varieties and ending with the 1940 Youth Organization sets both used, including SHH , 1896 Olympics used (10dr. fine mint) and all the important issues, Airmails as well as Greek occupation of Turkey. Following , charity stamps and postage due fairly complete again including Greek occupation issues overprinted in black and red. Finally there is a rich section of Greek territories including Cavalla (with scarce nr. 2 on fragment and pretty complete collections of Greek Dedeagats (incl. label issues), Limnos, Samos, Epirus, Thrace, Crete with British and Russian administration issues. Quality is mixed with many fine specimen and some forgeries exist (mainly in the charity stamp and Greek territory section), but an opportunity to acquire such an extensive collection with tremendous catalogue value (100s).
