1871 litho 3kr green postal stationery envelope (back upper flap missing) to Wiener Neustadt, additionally franked with engraved 2kr lemon yellow, tied by illegible oval ds, with 27/3 receiving cds on reverse, impression of the edge caused by the missing back flap showing diagonally on the front, a very rare combination and important item for the connoisseur; (a similar item, but additionally bearing an engraved 10kr on reverse, was sold for CHF 8’000 in the Ryan sale in 1994); ex Holcombe stock.
