Lot 60106 – Pohrlitz – Moravia (Mähren). 1850 6kr on cover with « POHRLITZ/Recommandirt » hs in greenish blue

Pohrlitz. 1850 6kr in an ocher shade, very fresh displaying equally large margins all around, tied to 1850 registered cover to Vienna by framed « POHRLITZ/Recommandirt » hs with « 22 JULY » accompanying dater adjacent, both struck in greenish blue, two back flaps missing were the registration franking was applied, tiny tear in margin of the stamp at base and only mentioned for accuracy, a very rare usage of this postmark on cover, further enhanced by the exceptional usage in this colour (in the catalogue of the Jerger sale this was included, but only in black on cover), a great showpiece; Müller 2192 Rab, 1’275pts; ex Gad Glück stock (1978).
