1933-92, Group of 15 balloon mail covers plus ephemera, incl. 1935 Explorer II cover incl. insert signed by the two crew members (ex Franklin D. Roosevelt collection), 1933 Piccard-Compton cover signed by the pilot Jacques Piccard, 1935 with « Balloon Burst Inflating » cachet, 1957 signed cover by David G.Simons and two photos signed Joseph Kittinger, plus a 1969 letter from Winzen Research with a sample of Man High I balloon and a 1950 patent booklet for balloon construction by Winzen.
