1888 (12 Nov) cover to Paris franked with two 7c postal forgeries, lithographed perf 14 cancelled by two genuine Cap Haitien cds, New York transit backstamp. The correct franking would have been 12c but of little consequence to the sender. Fine and rare and the only recorded perf. 14 example.
