1847 (February 2) entire to Nantes with forwarding agents details on reverse, bearing fine strike of Cayes Paye negative seal, red COLONIES/ & ART. 13 framed handstamp, local manuscript 3 1/2 escalines charge and ’18’ decimes charge on arrival, reverse with Jacmel transit of British Post Office (FE 24), London transit (21 MR) and arrival cds, a fine example of this negative seal.
