Lot 95165 – German Post Offices China 1905 cover to New York, train fire disaster

1905 commercial envelope to New York franked three 20pf overprinted Germania tied Tientsin cds, with New York Post Office form stating envelope damaged in the wreck of the ’20th Century Limited’ train on the lake shore and Michigan Southern R.r. on June 21 1905, reverse with Yokohama transit and arrival cds. Obviously with some faults to envelope, ex. Weinman-Lays.
