Description

1898, Coiling Dragon 2c deep red, very fine horizontal strip of five used on 1900 cover to Germany, all ti3d by bilingual WEI HAI WEI circular date stamps of 20 Aug. With France 25c with red CHINE overprint, paying onward transmission tied by Shanghai cds. Envelope with a slight trim at left, but a very attractive and scarce combination usage.
