Lot 80129 – 10.09.1948 Jasdan used on local cover and tied with

1948 (Sep 10) used on local cover and tied with circular violet cancel. Unchecked for perforations and type. Date inferred from the cancel and shows late use of the stamp on a commercial cover as Jasdan was merged with Kathiawar state on 15 April 1948 and this was cover was used on Sept 10 1948. Jasdan covers commercially used are extremely rare and this shows late usage after merger, very fine exhibition showpiece (SG £1400+ as priced for SG4-6).
