1872 Paid letter from Syros (June 16th/28th, 1872) to Marseille (June 22nd/July 4th, 1872) franked at 70 lepta corresponding to the transportation by the boats of the « Compagnie des Paquebots de la Méditerranée » of a letter up to from 10 grams (single rate) according to the 1866 convention between Greece & France. Red postmark « PD » for « Paid to destination ». The 10 & 40 lepta are from the meshed papers printings (1871-1876) and the 20 lepta from the 1871-1872 printings. Good to very large margins.
